Can I receive an e-copy/eBook version of the publication?

Many of our publications now include an eBook or have an eBook-only option available to
buy. These are sent via an email link. If you choose to pay by card, PayPal or Shop Pay, the link will be sent at once, automatically.

If you choose to pay against invoice, your order will be processed manually, either the same day or the next working day. If our email does not arrive, please contact our customer services team. Please check your email junk/trash/bulk folders first.

Which items have VAT?

Our CPD Training Videos, subscriptions to the Focus Update Service and the Learning
Challenge Curriculum website are subject to VAT. However, all our hard-copy publications and digital downloads are VAT-free.  If you require a VAT invoice, please email us.

How do we return an item?

Unsuitable items must be returned within 14 days of the date of purchase, and the original proof of purchase must be included (i.e. delivery note or invoice). We cannot accept returns after this time has passed. Please note: Items containing USBs, e-Books, Focus Downloads (and electronic copies/resources) cannot be returned.

Please Note: We no longer accept returns of bulk products such as Mini’s / My Early Years Progress Books or Year by Year. If you wish to see these products before purchasing, please contact Customer Services and request sample pages.

Please email us before returning your item to Focus Education. For more information, please read our Terms & Conditions here.

Are books printed in colour or black and white?

Most of our books are printed in black and white to keep the cost as low as possible. The
website states if the book is printed in colour or black and white. We can print a book in colour, but there will be an extra charge for this. If you would like one of our black-and-white books printed in colour, please contact the office.

Inset/Consultancy

I would like to book a consultant to work with my school/group of schools, how do I do this?

The first step is to get in touch with Linda Davies; you can email her here

Linda will speak with you to determine your objectives; once we know what you need, we will recommend an experienced consultant in your chosen area. You can also request a specific consultant for your INSET day.

Can we share the cost of a consultant with other schools?

Absolutely. Some schools prefer to hold training with other local schools or clusters, sharing costs and strengthening links. We’re delighted to help in this process in whatever capacity we can.
We can also organise training on behalf of a cluster, group of schools, academy trusts or local authority at a venue of your choice.

I would prefer different hours for a consultant, is this possible?

Yes. Most schools request a standard school day, but we can work to whatever you require. Our hours are flexible, and we also offer twilight sessions. Get in touch with Linda to discuss all your options.
