The consultants here at Focus Education have prepared a range of short CPD videos on current and relevant themes. These videos are great starters for any staff meeting or twilight session. Pause, rewind and share with staff in your school.
This video training explains how the Ofsted research review in languages can inform the deep-dive process, focusing on the key messages and factors inspectors are likely to look at in a school's intent and implementation. If the school is focusing on its languages curriculum, it is useful as a starting point for discussion and reflection among subject leaders and class teachers.
The training is relevant to any primary school in terms of the inspection process and the over-arching preliminary discussion with senior leaders. It provides the background to the process and includes a number of key prompts for colleagues to consider about their languages curriculum.
